IT Field Engineer Benelux

Purpose of the role
  • As IT Field Support Engineer you are responsible to maintain and provide IT support towards our colleagues from within DPDHL and ensure that their IT requests and matters are resolved within agreed SLA and procedures.
  • Within the department country operations you work closely together with your Benelux colleagues as well with your colleagues from the data center based in Prague.

Position within the organization

In this role you report to the manager Country Operations BeLux. Within this department you have direct colleagues in Belgium and The Netherlands. In this role you will be regularly working in different locations within Belgium. You have frequent contact with internal customers and the management of the diverse DHL Business Units. You fulfill a role within IT Services Benelux organization.

Profile and role requirements
  • The right candidate is a young professional with enthusiasm to deliver IT support to different DHL locations across the Benelux. He/she is extremely well organized, action oriented, great listener, able to work independently, likes to travel and needs to be a good communicator.
  • You feel at home in an informal but critical environment. A dynamic organization where you will be challenged to deliver your part to the success and growth of IT Services Benelux.
  • You continuously develop yourself and are open to innovation. You get inspired by successful projects and growth. But also important to you is a high degree of collegiality.

You have at least
  • A completed Bachelor in IT study or equivalent by experience.
  • Proven experience within the IT sector (3 – 5 years).
  • Enterprise service desk tooling (GSN).
  • Drive to resolve issues and deliver high performance.
  • Vigorous in your acting (Can Do Spirit) and you are professionally strong.
  • Good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English.
  • Good knowledge of recent versions of Microsoft Office.
  • Full-time available.
