The Service Logistics Center of Excellence (CoE) is a lean team of highly motivated individuals across the globe, focusing on business initiatives that will enable delivery of the SL strategic objectives.  The CoE will always be forward looking, constantly identifying how best practices and innovation can be brought into the SL way of working.  The team leads and sets the agenda for product development/digitalization, business solutions and analytics for Service Logistics globally.

Leading the analytics group within the COE is the head of Service Logistics analytics. This is a critical role tasked with defining and executing on an analytics vision to support the service logistics strategy. This individual manages resources with different technical, supply chain and business backgrounds. Many of the team members may not report directly to the head of the Service Logistics analytics team. The leader must ensure that the team can serve various supply chain and business leaders with conflicting goals. This demands a strong, well-versed leader with effective management and communication skills who can collaborate with and influence supply chain, business and IT partners

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Sets and drives Data Analytics vision and agenda for Global Service Logistics business
  • Leads and manages the performance of the global Service Logistics analytics team
  • Ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders
  • Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
  • Recruits additional team resources as needed and supports their career development and progression
  • Tracks and reports on the performance of the Service Logistics analytics team, and the impact of its initiatives
  • Creates and manages a community of practice that pulls together decentralized analytics talent across the organization in a virtual network

Now here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor of arts/bachelor of science degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, analytics, economics or business administration. (Required)
  • Ten years or more in operational supply chain positions (plan, source, make, deliver) or supply chain IT.
  • Three to five years in a senior-level role in a supply chain strategy group, COE or project management office (PMO).
  • Experience leading successful cross-functional supply chain projects and initiatives.
  • Experience leading or heavily participating in analytics projects or technology implementations.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating both the core team and distributed resources, with a broad range of skill sets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
