As LLP (Lead Logistics Partner) we handle the complete 4PL (forth party logistic provider) logistics for all of our customer's European plants. Within this framework, we are represented by approx. 940 employees at fifteen locations in 10 countries in Europe.
Primary purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for leading, motivating, managing the DHL LLP planning team across the account and coordinate with other key stakeholders in order to deliver and improve the road flow to manufacturing logistics supply chains. This all whilst maximizing KPI performance, revenue, profit and growth. You will report to the Operations Manager
General accountabilities:
- Review and Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to meet contractual terms and DHL expectations
- Develop effective plans for business aligned with other internal and customer key stakeholders
- Create a culture of continuous improvement
- Change management leadership, coaching and developing employees
- Ensure adherence of DHL tools; methodologies, governance and standards for the purposes of implementation
- Team building and succession planning
- Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures
- Ensure effective communication mechanisms exist within team and with all stakeholders
- Ensure the customer's diverse needs are managed and serviced in terms of their logistics requirements.
- Review and optimize operational processes (e.g. Gemba walks)
Your profile:
- Degree in/focus on Supply chain management, Logistics and/or Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience leading a team
- varied experience in a logistics role
- Good written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of French and Dutch is a big plus.
