We are looking for a passionate Senior HR Business Partner, based in Diegem (Belgium), to provide strategic and operational HR guidance, covering the full employee lifecycle, to Group Functions employees in Belgium and the EMEA region.

 

This is a full-time and permanent opportunity allowing you to work closely within extensive HR network on both regional and global level and benefit from a wide range of personal and professional development opportunities.

 

Your tasks:

  • Guide and consult managers and employees on HR matters drawing on functional specialists and business HR colleagues with a balanced focus on strategic and operational HR activities at local (Belgium) and regional (EMEA) level in line with wider people strategy
  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support, advice and solutions to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain employees in order to achieve business objectives, overarching HR plans/policies, best practices and current legislation.
  • Manage and implement various HR processes, policies and activities across the whole Employee Life Cycle, including Attraction, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, including Salary Proposals, Onboarding, Development, Performance Management, Bonus and Merit process and off-boarding
  • Execute on talent management strategies including succession planning in line with defined processes incl. preparing and conducting development reviews with management teams and facilitating individual development plans
  • Facilitate team and off-site meetings & workshops with managers and employees as needed
  • Liaise with and maintain the relationship with the local Shared Services team, who provide Payroll and EDA support, to ensure a consistently high level of service delivery.
  • Drive continual HR service improvement and support with local or regional/global HR projects.
 

Your profile should look like:

  • University Degree and/or relevant qualification
  • Experience of more than 4 years and exposure across all key aspects of HR disciplines within multinational environment
  • A passionate professional & team player able to champion best HR practices along with a “can-do” attitude
  • Proven experience of building & maintaining successful partnerships at all level in the organization
  • Able to work autonomously within complex & matrix organization
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to drive topics at local and regional level
  • Knowledge of local Belgium legislation and the ER/IR landscape, including ability to liaise with local Works Councils as required.
  • Analysis, planning and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English & Dutch required
