As LLP (Lead Logistics Partner) we handle the complete 4PL (forth party logistic provider) logistics for all of our customer's European plants. Primary purpose of the role:
The primary purpose of the role is to lead and take ownership of solutions design activities in multiple LLP transformational pursuits across MLMEA. This will involve focusing on transport network optimisation initiatives, engaging with customers peer teams and developing compelling “solution fit” proposals. At the same time, will need to collate, present, track and report on all Gainshare projects. To fullfiill the role, the Value Creation Manager will lead a small team of Value Creation specialists.

The role has key responsibilities for the design, costing and optimization of the following supply chain aspects:
  • Logistics strategy
  • Supply chain analysis, full analyis of best route options
  • Supply chain processes design and re-engineering
  • Sustainable supply chain development (e.g. carbon footprint and multi-modal optimization)  
  • Manage complex requests, define critical customer requirements, develop supply chain solutions with specific transport management expertise, including reverse logistics, optimization initiatives and network design
  • Manage projects in own area of responsbility as well as related value creation specialists in order to develop the best solution for both customer and DHL within time and budget
  • Ensure all solutions are highly innovative and competitive in order to maximize savings opportunity, whilst at the same time ensuring these are deliverable to achieve anticipated profitability
  • Collate global view of savings, liaising with global contacts to ensure savings are on-track
  • Conduct analysis and validation of large amount of data sets derived from the customers in scope and provide improvement proposals from this
  • Prepare and deliver proposals for the customers in scope in a consulting capacity
  • Ensure timely and accurate publication of customer reporting
  • Ensure reported savings are audited and in line with agreed methodologies
Your profile: 
  • Degree in/focus on Supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration and/or Mathematics – desirable
  • Ideally at least 5 years varied experience in a logistics or solution design role
  • Good written and spoken English is essential and other European languages desirable
